Sue Aslin, Owner

Meet Sue Aslin, Owner of GYROTONIC® Sonoma and Studio M Pilates. Sue grew up in Kenwood, in the north end of Sonoma Valley. She has studied and taught Gyrotonic and Pilates exercise for more than 17 years. She is a certified Gyrotonic Method teacher and has studied with numerous renowned Gyrotonic masters. She is also a certified ITT Pilates Master Trainer and holds a Pilates Method Alliance certification, NCPT. She has studied Gyrotonic exercise, Pilates and biomechanics extensively with Studio M founder Madeline Black. In addition, Sue studies osteopathy with Joshua Margolis, kinesiology and manual therapy with Jean Claude West, orthopedic massage with Tom Hendrickson, and the Lauren Berry technique with master body worker Lynda Caesara. A former dancer and dance school director, Sue began studying Pilates in 1995 to help heal injuries and bring balance to her body. For her clients, Sue creates thoughtful, individualized sessions designed to meet their specific needs. Her mission is to help people move and feel well in their bodies for a lifetime. Sue holds a BA in journalism and worked for many years in wine marketing and public relations. She lives in Sonoma with her son.
